Inventory management can be a tedious task and take up a lot of your time and resources. AppEagle | Inventory will automatically revise, end and relist your listings based on the rules that you set. After going through the application setup, almost no interaction is necessary. Concentrate on other aspects of your business as AppEagle | Inventory manages your inventory for you!
There are three types of rules that you can set. The first rule type allows you to list a percentage of your available inventory. This ensures that all of your inventory is always listed on eBay or enables you to split your inventory across multiple marketplaces without overselling.
The second rule type allows you to list a fixed quantity for an item regardless of real inventory. This enables you to list an item that you know will always be in stock regardless of what your inventory says.
The third rule type allows you to add or subtract a specified number from you real inventory. Subtracting from inventory will end the listing when inventory goes below a certain number. Adding to Inventory prevents the listing from coming down when Available Quantity reaches zero.
Sellers are finding that their fixed price listings perform better if they show a low number of available inventory. If the seller has 100 pieces of an item in stock, it will probably not sell as well as an item that only has 5 in stock. This is because buyers feel a sense of urgency to purchase the item if they feel they might miss out on it.
You can set a Max to List limiting the quantity that the app will list. The Max to List number will be used as long as it is less than Quantity Available. Max to List can be set for all items or for individual items.
Sellers can submit their inventory in bulk to the app. There are three ways to submit an inventory file. Manually upload inventory using a Tab Delimited or CSV file, upload an inventory file via FTP or specify a location where an inventory file is stored and the app will automatically pull it from that location.
The app will notify you of anything that needs to be brought to your attention. You can also specify which notifications to receive. Specific rules being triggered, listings being taken down, listings going live, etc…
